Alex has completed M&A assignments, financial valuations and strategic analyses for clients in a variety of industries. Alex gained significant capital markets experience within the Merrill Lynch Private Client Group and with BankBoston Corporation. At Merrill Lynch, Alex worked firm-wide on strategic consulting projects and within the investment and treasury groups of Merrill Lynch Bank & Trust.

As a Senior Analyst within the Capital Planning and Strategy Group at BankBoston Corporation, Alex evaluated alternatives for raising and deploying capital including the issuance or redemption of equity and debt securities. He also assisted in the evaluation of merger and acquisition opportunities.

Alex obtained his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Business Administration, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In Boston, Alex also completed supplemental courses at the Harvard University Extension School of Business. Alex holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
